Nestled at the base of Rib Mountain, tucked quietly in the woods, you will find the one-of-a-kind Rib Mountain Inn and Townhouses.

Located just a little over a mile off of Hwy 29/51 in Wausau, WI.  This boutique inn is set back from the hustle and bustle, located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and adjacent to both Granite Peak Ski Area and the Rib Mountain Golf Course.  Each of our 15 uniquely decorated rooms have a balcony or patio where you will be surrounded by a mixture of birch and pine trees.

Looking for something bigger? Next door to the Inn our Townhouses and Villas offer a home away from home for families and groups, with multi-bedroom units that can accommodate up to 10 guests.


Embrace the serenity of Central Wisconsin by hiking, biking and kayaking nearby at such beautiful locations as Rib Mountain State Park, Nine Mile County Forest Recreation Area or White Water Park. Or immerse yourself in the abundance of the arts and attractions; theater venues, music festivals, unique gift shops, art galleries, a wealth of dining experiences, breweries and miles and miles of trails.

Townhouses & Villas 

Perfect for larger groups or those who just like to spread out a bit, we offer our selection of Townhouses and Villas.

These multi-bedroom homes are located directly across the street from our Main Inn and each unit is unique. 

These homes are available year-round and require a minimum stay of 3 nights.
