9 Mile Forest

Mountain Biking May 1st through September 15th
9 Mle Forest has 43 Km of varying terrain, trail system that include open tracks and minimal to moderate grades. The trail runs through lush forest area.

The Wausau Weelers-Biycicle Club

Bikers meet at 9 Mile Forest. Bycicle Club consisting of road rider's mountain bikers and commuters. The club leads road and mountain bike riders every week from mid-May to September. All riders have a group leader and last 1-3 hours.

Mountain-Bay Trail

Located only 9 miles from the Rib Mountain Inn.

Mountain-Bay State Trail is an 83-mile scenic trail that runs from Weston to Green Bay. 18 miles of the trail for hiking and biking, is located in Marathon County, WI.(In Winter, the trail is open snowmobiles and ATV's)

Rib Mountain State Park

Located only 5 miles from the Rib Mountain Inn.

This scenic State Park is located on top of Rib Mountain. It features walking trials and camping. The deer are abundant. You may also see woodchucks,racoons and foxes. There is a 60 foot observation tower and two viewing decks that overlook the area.
